HAWK CHUA

The FM-1 firmware, running in your browser — the same code, compiled to WebAssembly.

Play: click the keys, or the computer keyboard: A W S E D … ' (from F), Z / X OCT− / OCT+. A MIDI keyboard works too (Chrome, Edge: pick it under MIDI in): notes, CCs, program changes, bank select, aftertouch (breath), the clock; CC 20 … 26 turn SELECT, ALGORITHM, PRESETS, KNOB 1 … 4, CC 27 is the volume.

Encoders: drag up / down, scroll on them, or the ‹ › buttons. Buttons: hold them as on the FM-1 (HOME held + PRESETS: the bank); Shift-click or right-click keeps a button down until clicked again (both OCTs at once on the TAPE pages: BOUNCE).

SAVE keeps your presets and the settings in this browser. The sound is the firmware's own, sample for sample; the screen is drawn by its own code.

Browsers start audio only after a click.
